Aya Ueto has been chosen as the female lead in the Japanese dub of the ‘Speed Racer’ movie. She will provide the voice for Speed’s girlfriend Trixie, who is played by Christina Ricci.

Jin Akanishi has already been revealed as the voice of Emile Hirsch’s Speed.

The Japanese version will hit theaters on July 5.

I haven’t even seen the U.S. version of the film (and I’m not in much of a rush to add it to my Netflix queue either) but maybe watching a Japanese-dubbed version of the flick may change my mind—especially with Aya Ueto voicing Trixie.
