Despite talk of its demise, NHK’s 73rd Kouhaku Uta-Gassen is happening this year and we can cheer for two Uchinānchu who are making appearances on the music show. The first is the boy group JO1 with Yonashiro Sho and they’ll be singing “Infinity”.
Next up isn’t a big surprise and we’re so proud of him: Miura Daichi who will be singing “Sansan”. What we’re wondering is if he’ll be joined by the “Chimudondon” cast as a surprise.
The show will air in Okinawa and Japan on New Year’s Eve.
