After being humbled by Rude-α’s emotional song “Umui” for Okinawa’s Irei no Hi, we were wondering what would be next for the talented rapper. Perhaps taking a cue from this experience of creating music with a full band (the song featured an all-star team with Masaru from BEGIN, Yuki and Shuntaro from HoRookies, and hometown bassist So), we now find Rude-α (and bassist So) in his new band Bubble Baby, and they’re amazing.

They’ve released an EP and several singles from 2023 and going into this year, but the one that stands out for us is their song “Highway” which brilliantly features Rude-α’s vocal ability and rapping. Bubble Baby is a band to keep your eyes and ears on and we really want to see Rude-α hit it big again.
