We’re like, “Wait!”, didn’t Cocco just release an amazing album (“Kuchinashi”) last year?! Yup, and we have a new album “Prom” freshly released today 3/23 and coming on her 25th anniversary! Ever since she started incorporating shimauta (covers and originals) and shimakutuba in her music we’ve been hooked and “Prom” (her 12th album) continues the tradition with “Tinsagu nu Hana” (cover) and “Cobalt” (original) among other tracks. Cocco also enlists the help of BEGIN on “Mamairo” (track 7) and DIAMANTES on “Koi Kogarete” (track 8). The album is available on all streaming platforms.
