Actress Nakama Yukie’s dream comes true as her upcoming film “Step” is set for a 2025 release. Her dream was to star in a movie that was entirely filmed in Okinawa and it has come true. The theme of the film is dance and what better way to showcase it then having two young actors who are from the famous Okinawa Actors School: Soul and Matayoshi Ren (it’s uncanny how she resembles a young Amuro Namie!). It’s awesome that Taira Kazuhiro (“Miracle City Koza”) is the co-director for the film. We’re hoping the film will get a worldwide release and make it to the Hawaii Film Festival.
